Have you looked into equine adoption yet? If not, let us introduce you to another amazing young prospect! Little Man arrived at the Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT) because he was not the color his previous owners wanted. We were told he was born to Appaloosa parents. For us, Little Man's color is just fine! We think Little Man is the perfect shade of bay. Little Man came with his older brother, not understanding of halters, ground manners, or much else of the human world. Along his journey, he hit a few roadblocks but with a dedicated team, Little Man has grown into quite the gentleman. At about 3-years old and 14.3 hands, he is ready to get started under saddle. With his striking looks, this guy turns heads! His brother (at 6-years old) was adopted as a jumping prospect - we have high hopes Little Man might have a similarly bright future ahead of him as he fills out and matures!
As we continue to challenge Little Man to grow and learn, one of the biggest goals of our rescue operations is to be matchmakers. We’re not looking just to place horses. We search for the right person for every horse. It’s not always easy but its something that can make or break success in horse ownership. That’s why we strive to be transparent and upfront about all of our horses – their stories, their backgrounds, their health, and their abilities. We’ll listen to you and your needs, too! Through these avenues, we hope that we can build trust and lasting relationships with adopters and even potential adopters.
