Hello #RIDENation,

Meet our 2016 Fall Marketing and Communication interns Megan and Emily! Read below to learn more about each of the girls and join us in welcoming them to the RIDE TV team for the semester!

Megan Wilson

Hey guys!

I’m Megan Wilson, RIDE TV’s new marketing and communications intern!

I grew up in Ottawa, KS and then went on to play college soccer and rodeo in Oklahoma. I transferred to Tarleton State University in 2014, and I will be graduating with a degree in animal science this coming May!

Before RIDE, I was an intern at Cowboy Lifestyle Network where I got to write fashion and rodeo articles.  I also own and operate The Velvet Steer Company, a clothing brand that specializes in collaborating vintage western fashion with today’s trends for one-of-a-kind pieces. I make everything by hand and search high and low for the coolest vintage fabric!

My first day so far has been very turbulent getting lost in Fort Worth, but nonetheless, I have a great feeling about this place! I’m extremely excited to be a part of the RIDE TV team and look forward to my future with them!

Emily Tall

Hey y’all! My name is Emily Tall (and yes, I am tall).

I’m a new intern in the Marketing department at RIDE TV and I’m super excited to join the team! I’m a Communication Studies major at Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!) and I bleed purple. When I’m not in class or at a TCU football game, you can normally find me watching either tennis or home improvement shows (it’s a weakness).

While I grew up in northern New Jersey, where I first started riding, I competed in some small-time show jumping competitions and sincerely wanted The Saddle Club to be my real life. I’m so excited to have this opportunity at RIDE TV to learn the tricks of the trade and be surrounded with funny pictures of horses on the walls every day at work!

I'm just wondering what happens when an anon actually writes a comment on a blog. Does it auto publish? Well, we turned that off so it shouldn't. We'll have to make sure and delete this comment... don't want fake comments on launch.

Okay, so how does the reply look? What are the classes that it leaves us to use?
