Horses of the Day: Day 3

Racehorses are not your average athletes, especially the All American Derby qualifiers. These unique Quarter Horses possess extreme speed. More importantly, these are older horses with outstanding genetics, great trainers, experience and passionate jockeys leading them to a potential victory on the track for the chance at $1.5 million. These horses show true grit and determination racing down the 440-yard track. The Derby horses might be older but their speed has not slowed them down. Read more about your favorite qualifier below. You can tune in on RIDE TV GO Monday, September 1, 2019, to watch the LIVE coverage of the 2019 All American Derby, starting at 5 pm | 4c.

Rusty’s Miracle

What a miracle it was for Sue May’s family to find this amazing horse. Sue May’s family has been racing horses for many years, and she fell in love with Rusty’s Miracle pedigree. This horse could add to the May family legacy if he were to win the All American Derby. The family won their first Ruidoso race in 1963. Rusty’s Miracle qualified as the tenth fastest horse with a 21.516. We are excited to watch how jockey Noe Garcia Jr. and Rusty’s Miracle do in the final race.

Tools In The Sky

This horse sure has the tools to qualify himself for the All American Derby race on September 1, 2019. A potential chance to win a $1.5 million prize. Tools In The Sky shows up when it is least expected. This is a horse who competed in the 2010 All American Futurity at a younger age. He has matured since then picking up his momentum to become the fifth-fastest qualifier in the trials with a 21.361. Hopefully, Tools In The Sky and his jockey Ricky Ramirez will have the necessary tools to win the All American Derby.

Jess Macho Corona

Coming off of a seventh-month break, Jess Macho Corona has come back strong and fast. This speedy horse earned himself a spot in the All American Derby race after qualifying in the trials with a time of 21.507. This was Jess Macho Corona’s first attempt to qualify as a three-year-old. Having a seventh-month break with no prior training proves this horse could surprise us in the All American Derby. Watch to see if Jess Macho Corona and his jockey Raul Ramirez Jr., come back strong and fast to earn a victory!

America Rules

America Rules is a determined horse that will not let challenges get her down. She has overcome foot issues. This $22,000 Ruidoso yearling is a filly from Corona Cartel. America Rules will be competing in her second major derby at the All American. Despite her foot issues, she proved she deserved a spot in the 2019 race with a fast-qualifying time of 21.297. Be sure to watch and see if America Rules and her jockey James Flores are determined to challenge the other competitors and earn themselves a victory in the end!
